Welcome to the Postal History Society

Founded in 1936, we are the oldest Society in the World dedicated to the study of Postal History.

If you have a question relating to Postal History or the Society in general
you can send us an email at enquiries@postalhistory.org.uk

If you wish to contact a specific member of the Society's Council,
their details are shown on the Contact page.

We exist to promote and encourage the study of postal communications, local, national and international.

The Postal History Society is a member of the Association of British Philatelic Societies.

The Association of Scottish Philatelic Societies (ASPS) is a collection of local societies from
throughout Scotland whose aim is to further the study of Stamps, Postcards and Postal History.
The Postal History Society has affiliated to the ASPS as we have members in Scotland.
